Designers

In most cases, those who design cabinets for Wood Mill began their design career while working in our shop.  Never-the-less, we do from time to time hire persons with previous design experience.  If you have a cabinet background and are proficient in the use of CabnetWare, CabinetVision, or AutoCad, we may be able to use you in our Design department.

Tasks -

• Using the design software:
• make design drawings of the assigned jobs
• create bid information
• create parts lists
• provide various check-off lists
• create CAD drawings of various "specialty" items
• enter design information into the company database

Applicant Requirements - This job requires the applicant to:

• be highly motivated and energetic
• be able to read a measuring tape
• be able to arrive at work each morning and be ready to work by 7:00 AM with minimal tardiness or absenteeism (starting time may vary depending on job responsibilities)
• have a good working knowledge of the design software and the Windows 7 operating system

Wages and Benefits:

• Starting Pay: minimum wage - $12/hr. depending on skills.  Pay increases are based on merit, skill, attendance, and responsibility
